Dress in layers with protection for wind, rain and sun. Rain gear and rubber boots are recommended, but are not necessary. Prepare to get splashed if you are going on a trip in the ocean! CLICK HERE FOR LOCAL WEATHER
You can either order a boxed lunch through our office from a local bakery, or bring your own lunch and beverages. We provide hot coffee on the boat.
If you are uncertain about your tendency for seasickness, or have never ridden on a boat before, make sure you are prepared to get sick and take preventative measures against it. Motion sickness patches can be found at the doctor’s office which prevent nausea and vomiting. We recommend taking Dramamine-type products (which are also sold in our office) the night before and the morning of your trip. The most important things you can do to prevent seasickness are to get a good night’s sleep, bring light snacks (such as crackers, chips, or fruit), watch the horizon or the beautiful Northwest coast while on the water, and to stay out on the deck where you can get some fresh air. Get out of the cabin!
8-hour trip or early limit for Salmon, Sturgeon, Halibut, and Bottom Fishing. 12 hour trip for Albacore.
SPORTSMEN'S CANNERY at the docks is available to process your catch when you come in from your trip. If you have special needs, please let us know when you book your trip so we can better serve you.
