RESERVATIONS

To make a reservation, check out our online calendar and book online, or give us a call at (360) 642-2300 and our office staff can help you plan your trip. For online bookings you will be required to pay in full at time of booking. All in-person or phone bookings require a credit card number to hold the reservation. Pay in person the morning of your trip or pay in advance to beat the morning rush.

NOTE: OUR OFFICE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR TRIP DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS FOR A FULL REFUND OF AMOUNTS ALREADY PAID TO SEA BREEZE CHARTERS.

ON THE MORNING OF YOUR TRIP

(May-July 2023) Arrive at our office to check in between 4:45 and 5:00 for salmon or bottom fishing. Bring your saltwater fishing license (and catch card for salmon and halibut) or buy a day pass from us for $12.97. Our office staff will point you to the vessel and offer you some coffee!

FISHING LICENSES

One-day charter boat licenses are available to purchase at the office for $12.00 plus tax.  A Combination or Saltwater fishing license from Oregon or Washington is required for Halibut, Ocean Salmon, Tuna, and Bottom Fishing trips. If you are Salmon, Sturgeon, or Halibut fishing, a catch card is required alongside your license! If you do not have one or both of these items you will need to purchase a day pass from us.

FISHING TACKLE & BAIT

Custom Sportfishing Rods, Reels, Bait and Tackle are included in the price of the trip.

CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS

Please contact us as soon as possible if there is any change in your initial reservation.

If you cancel within three weeks of your scheduled charter a charge of 50% of the trip fee will be applied.

If you cancel the day before your scheduled charter or are a NO SHOW the day of your charter a charge of 100% of the trip fee will be applied.

NOTE: Fishing charters that are cancelled due to weather or mechanical problems will be fully refunded the amounts already paid to Sea Breeze Charters.

DRESS

Dress in layers with protection for wind, rain and sun.  Rain gear and rubber boots are highly recommended, but are not necessary. Prepare to get splashed if you are going on a trip in the ocean! CLICK HERE FOR LOCAL WEATHER 

LUNCH

Please pack your own lunch and beverages to bring with you on board!  We only provide hot coffee on the boat, so make sure you have enough water and snacks. Personal coolers are encouraged. 

SEASICKNESS

Although many people never get seasick, if this will be your first time on the ocean it is smart to be prepared! We recommend taking Dramamine-type products the night before AND the morning of your trip. Make sure you get a good night's sleep, pack lots of light snacks (crackers, chips, or fruit), and stay out of the cabin!

TRIP DURATION

8-hour trip or early limit for Salmon, Sturgeon, Halibut, and Bottom Fishing. 12 hour trip for Albacore.

FISH PROCESSING SERVICES

Tre-Fin Seafoods in Ilwaco (360) 642-3675 located here in Ilwaco is available to process your catch when you come in from your trip. You can carry your fish home in your cooler or we will carry your fish to Tre-Fin to have them processed for a nominal fee.

Because we share Area 1 with Oregon & Washington we are not allowed to filet our fish at sea. Our deckhands will gut and gill your salmon, but we cannot filet bottom fish, halibut, or albacore tuna. Bottom fish (i.e. rockfish, ling cod) need to be returned to port whole so fisheries representatives can properly identify the species.
